The Alternate History List
An annotated bibliography of approximately 2300 novels, stories,
essays and other material involving the "what ifs"
of history. The genre has a variety of names, including counterfactuals,
alternative histories, allohistories, uchronias, and more,
but in fiction at least, it's most widely known as alternate
history. An example would be "what if Rome never "fell."
Searchable by author and "Foreign"( you choose a
language and see items originally published in this language
or in translation), and with lists of Anthologies, Series,
